Job summary

RWDY Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Inspector for duties at Artesia, NM, inspecting contractor installations to ensure compliance with project specs, NEC, and safety requirements. The role covers conduit, wiring, instrumentation equipment, and process diagrams, with documentation and coordination of corrective actions.

The inspector will review schematics and P&IDs, support QA/QC activities, and uphold high safety and quality standards throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and instrumentation/electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Experience inspecting instrumentation and electrical installations in oil and gas environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor installation activities for instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Verify installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect conduit, wiring, tubing, fittings, and associated equipment.
• Review and interpret wiring schematics, electrical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Ensure NEC and OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
• Document inspection findings and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
