Job summary

Apave America Inc. is seeking a full-time Resident API 510/570 Inspector to perform daily maintenance inspections at a client site in Artesia, New Mexico.

The role requires visual examinations of pressure retaining equipment and adherence to API standards to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will document findings, generate reports with evidence, and collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to schedule actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with the 510 and 570 certifications required.
• API 510 and 570 certifications, required; additional API certifications are a plus.
• NDT certifications (MT/PT/UT) would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks per API/ASME/ASTM codes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, photos, measurements, and corrective recommendations.
• Assess risk, identify remaining life, and suggest maintenance or repair actions.
