Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior I&E Designer to join our Tulsa team. The role involves designing instrument and electrical equipment, components, structures or systems, and preparing complete design packages and detailed drawings.

You will perform load calculations, develop control circuits, review drawings, and ensure compliance with HSSE standards while contributing to schedules and cost reductions. 15+ years of field experience and strong CAD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years’ of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• SPI (Intools) software experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small/Medium project lead experience required.
• Large project lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete design packages including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables.
• Prepare detailed drawings, projections, and standard specifications.
• Perform sizing and electrical load calculations, cable sizing, conduit sizing, voltage drop.
• Develop or assist in development of control circuits for instrument components and relays.
• Review and optimize instrument application and function; check drawings for project applicability.
• Create BOMs, procurement lists, and update revisions per ECOs.
• Utilize CAD software to create layouts of instrument systems and fabrication drawings.
• Ensure drawings meet company and industry standards; participate in HSSE activities.
