Job summary

Audubon is seeking an I&E Designer I to join our Tulsa, OK team. The role involves designing instrument and electrical equipment, components, structures or systems, and supporting field surveys and documentation.

The position requires AutoCAD experience with preferred PDMS skills, and a background in interpreting drawings and producing fabrication drawings. Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree from a technical institution is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience is required.
• PDMS software experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience is preferred.
• Field experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret direction to initiate preliminary design.
• Perform sizing and electrical load calculations per requirements.
• Initiate drawings following engineering instructions.
• Apply revisions and change control per standards.
• Assemble information and reference drawings from various sources.
• Identify product improvements and cost reductions.
• Create drawings/models from optimal views for construction needs.
• Assist with field surveys and documenting existing conditions.
• Review field red-lined drawings and produce as-built drawings.
• Support O&M manuals preparation.
• Design components or portions of systems and modify designs as needed.
• Utilize 2D/3D CAD to layout instrument systems and create fabrication drawings.
• Maintain file management per standards.
• Gather field data when requested.
• Track task schedule and project budget.
• Comply with HSSE policies and regulations.
• Report hazards or unsafe acts promptly.
