AFRY USA is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead I&C deliverables on multi-discipline projects in Texas. You will specify instrumentation, control systems, safety controls, and develop P&IDs, loop diagrams, control narratives, and installation details while coordinating with process engineers and vendors.

The role includes field data collection, commissioning, startup support, and occasional travel (10-15%).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Preferred Professional Engineering registration or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with process instrumentation in Pulp and Paper, Oil & Gas, or Chemical industries.

Aufgaben

• Lead I&C deliverables on multi-discipline projects and estimate engineering effort.
• Prepare and review P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, and Instrument Index.
• Specify DCS/PLC components and instrumentation for flow, pressure, level, temperature, etc.
• Collaborate with process engineers and vendors to size control valves.
• Develop installation details and plan drawings; support field data collection and startup.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (approx. 10-15%).
