Web Business Solutions Inc. seeks a Senior Instructor for the BSP EWS program to deliver Socratic-style instruction through blended in-residence and online seminars at multiple locations (Quantico, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; MCB Hawaii; MCB Okinawa).

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with guided discussions to foster critical thinking, plus an active Secret clearance or Tier 3 eligibility. Teaching uses CDET curricula and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• Experience with guided discussion to promote critical thinking and engagement.
• Socratic teaching experience is desired.
• Active Secret clearance required or eligible (Tier 3).

Responsibilities

• Deliver CSCDEP and EWSDEP in blended-seminar format (in-residence and online).
• Conduct Socratic style onsite and online seminars.
• Teach only CDET approved curricula using provided materials and LMS.
• Grade papers, essays, and planning products per CDET rubrics and timelines.
• Ensure test security and academic integrity per policy.
• Follow the approved teaching schedule and course close-out rubrics.
• Remediate students with additional instruction as needed.
• Ensure LMS enrollment and provide basic LMS support to faculty/students.
• Attend annual CDET Faculty workshop at Quantico, and participate in required faculty development hours.
• Complete Faculty Orientation 101 and 201 as required.

*This position is contingent upon contract award*Senior Instructor - BSP EWSLocations: Quantico, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; MCB Hawaii; MCB Okinawa, Japan | Employment type: Full timeJob purposeThe Senior Instructor for the EWS Blended Seminar Program delivers full-time, Socratic-style instruction through combined in-residence and online seminar periods while meeting CDET academic, grading, security, and faculty-development standards.Duties and responsibilitiesConduct CSCDEP and EWSDEP in blended-seminar format. Blended seminars consist of a mix of in-residence seminar periods and online seminar periods.Conduct Socratic style onsite and online seminars.Teach only CDET approved curricula.Use CDET teaching materials, faculty guides and faculty LMS sites.Grade students' papers, essays, planning products and meet any subjective grading requirements as specified in CDET course close-out policies and timelines.Ensure strict enforcement of test security and integrity.Follow the approved teaching schedule.Grade according to CDET prescribed rubrics.Remediate students by providing additional personal instruction to students who fail exams.Enforce the CDET academic integrity policy.Ensure that at the end of each seminar course, seminar students and faculty complete EOC surveys via the LMS.Ensure LMS enrollment of eligible faculty and students into courses and provide faculty and students limited basic LSS support.Attend the annual CDET Faculty workshop at Quantico VA, which is normally for five consecutive days in the summer months.Participate in no more than ten (10) hours of local faculty development per AY, as determined by the RD.Successfully complete Faculty Orientation 101 prior to teaching.Every third year the Contractor shall successfully complete Faculty Orientation 201 or its successor course prior to teaching that AY.Provide ad hoc reports as required by CDET and MCU.QualificationsCLS, ILS, SAW, or TLS graduate.Experience using guided discussion techniques to promote critical thinking, reflection, and student engagement. Socratic teaching experience desired.EducationBachelor's degree in related field.Years of Relative Work Experience:Marine field grade (or select) officer.Experience as a commanding, executive, or primary staff officer at the battalion/squadron level or above.Clearance:Tier 3 Secret eligibility and an active Secret clearance are required; classified access must be maintained.
