Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Instructional Design experience.
• Distance learning and/or online instruction experience.
• Experience with online course development and assessment of student outcomes.
• Experience with LMS platforms like edX or Coursera.
• Experience providing faculty development for online and/or face-to-face instruction.
• Experience implementing distance-learning initiatives and technological integrations.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with web-based conferencing tools and multimedia production.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and gaps.
• Design, develop and implement curricula using learning science and human-centered design.
• Review and enhance content for alignment with learning objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to instructional design and multimedia staff.
• Manage external partners to ensure quality and timeliness of design and production tasks.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and optimize workflows.
• Support technology projects and explore new learning technologies.
• Analyze learner data to improve experience design.
