This role partners with faculty to enhance course design, accessibility, and teaching effectiveness, delivering training for faculty, staff, and students while exploring emerging educational technologies.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Instructional Technology or related field.
• 5-8 years relevant work experience.
• Experience in learning theory, online course development, faculty support, and higher education teaching experience.
• Knowledge of current instructional technologies, PC oriented but cross-platform.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Creative, collaborative, and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the design, development, and evaluation of online, hybrid, and in-person courses across assigned programs and departments.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration with SMEs, technology staff, and academic units.
• Apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL), accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive teaching standards to all instructional projects.
• Consult with faculty to create learner-centered, accessible instructional experiences and provide guidance on pedagogy and assessment.
• Research, pilot, and implement emerging instructional technologies and innovative teaching methods.
