Job summary

ManpowerGroup, including Experis and Talent Solutions, is seeking an Instructional Designer in Hayward, CA. Design curricula for manufacturing and logistics teams, develop engaging virtual and instructor-led training, and collaborate with SMEs to translate complex docs into interactive learning experiences.

You will create assessments and standardize on-the-job training processes for a seamless transition from virtual to hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of instructional design experience in technical or industrial settings.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline) and Docebo or similar enterprise LMS.
• Ability to translate complex technical content into engaging training materials.
• Strong collaboration with SMEs, managers, and technical teams.
• Experience independently managing and developing comprehensive training programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop curricula for manufacturing and logistics teams (virtual, ILT, on-the-job).
• Create engaging virtual content using Articulate 360 and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with SMEs and tech writers to simplify technical docs into training experiences.
• Develop assessments and qualification checklists to verify learner competency.
• Define and standardize on-the-job training processes for smooth virtual-to-practical transition.

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $60-$63/hour + Benefits

• Design and develop structured curricula for manufacturing and logistics teams, including virtual, instructor-led, and on-the-job training modules.
• Create engaging, high-quality virtual training content using Articulate 360/Rise, ensuring accessibility and instructional best practices.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Technical Writers to translate complex technical documentation into interactive learning experiences.
• Develop assessments and practical qualification checklists to verify learner competency and promote knowledge retention.
• Define and standardize on-the-job training processes, ensuring seamless transition from virtual learning to practical application in industrial environments.

What's Needed?

• 5 to 7 years of experience in instructional design within technical or industrial settings.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline) and familiarity with enterprise LMS platforms such as Docebo.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex technical documentation into clear, engaging training content.
