Job summary

Xylem is seeking an Instructional & Content Designer to craft engaging digital learning experiences that help customers implement, operate, and maintain Xylem solutions.

You'll partner with product management and subject matter experts to design and develop instructor-led training, eLearning, videos, job aids, and other performance support resources, applying instructional design and multimedia development expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Communications, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, Information Design, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing instructor-led or digital content.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning materials.
• Experience creating instructional videos (storyboarding, scripting, production, editing).
• Familiarity with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud for graphics and media.

Responsibilities

• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create effective solutions.
• Define learning outcomes and objectives aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences.
• Create job aids and performance support materials to enhance learner performance.
