Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, implement, and maintain world-class learning programs for the Learning and Development team. You will continuously improve programs with creative approaches that drive productivity and innovation.

The role collaborates with stakeholders across departments to deliver content focused on adult learning and business results, mentoring other learning professionals as needed. Hybrid work with 3 days in Walnut Creek, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years as instructional designer or L&D program manager.
• In-depth knowledge of eLearning tools and multimedia.
• Experience with LMS and multimedia/web design tech.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative, scalable learning programs using adult learning theories.
• Lead multiple projects, coordinating with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Develop course materials using diverse media for self-study and practice.
• Create assessment instruments to measure learning outcomes and impact.
• Facilitate instructor-led sessions and optimize learner experience.
• Evaluate training impact and refine programs based on metrics.
