Job summary

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer – eLearning & Training Development for a major U.S. airline and aviation organization.

This role focuses on designing and developing scalable learning solutions for a high-visibility 2027 Dangerous Goods initiative. You will work with SMEs to scope needs, translate complex compliance content into clear training, and craft polished digital experiences using Articulate Storyline/360, PowerPoint, image/video editing tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional instructional design experience (mid-level with 5–8 years is strongly aligned).
• Strong hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate 360 for eLearning development.
• Experience designing interactive eLearning from concept to completion.
• Experience applying accessibility principles to eLearning.
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to independently scope instructional design projects and set realistic plans.
• Excellent written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging eLearning, ILT, virtual, and blended learning solutions.
• Lead instructional design on assigned projects from scoping to implementation.
• Develop interactive courses using Articulate Storyline/360.
• Create facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, presentations and assessments.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information into training.
• Lead design and scoping meetings to define requirements and success measures.
• Develop and edit graphics, video, audio, and multimedia assets.
• Apply accessibility standards in course design and development.
• Create training materials using PowerPoint and Word.
• Assist with updating existing courses as needs change.
• Develop knowledge checks and assessments to measure learning.
• Review data to determine training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Perform quality reviews for accuracy, accessibility, and consistency.
