Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking an Instructional Developer to design and develop engaging eLearning content for the CTD division. You will work with subject matter experts to define objectives, create instructor-led and computer-based training, and ensure content is accessible and up-to-date.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles, project management, and collaboration, with telework eligibility and a focus on continuous improvement in training delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing a degree in instructional design, education, HR, organizational development, IT, or related field; four-year college degree preferred.
• Experience with adult learning theory and instructional design is required or preferred.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating eLearning development are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan, revise, design, and develop engaging eLearning content using adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to define objectives and course materials.
• Create visually appealing eLearning content with graphics, videos, and interactivity.
• Evaluate training and curricula for continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with eLearning laws, policies, and best practices.
