Job summary
Merck & Co., Inc. Rahway, NJ seeks a Sr. Specialist Industrial Hygiene & Biosafety to lead IH and biosafety programs, perform risk assessments, and provide expert EHS support across the site.

Qualifications
- BS in a relevant safety/science field; MS preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of professional IH, biosafety, and EHS experience.
- Proven ability to lead technical assessments and projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for IH and biosafety programs across operations.
- Lead IH/biosafety projects, risk evaluations, and technical studies.
- Conduct IH monitoring (airborne agents, noise, heat stress) and prepare technical reports.
- Deliver general EHS support including inspections, incident investigations, and training.
- Support regulatory and internal audits; participate in change management.
