Job summary

Emerson in Shakopee, MN is seeking an Inside Sales Manager (Analytical Instruments) on-site. You will lead the NA Analytical Instruments Customer Care team to meet sales goals, collaborate with sales, marketing and product management, and drive go-to-market initiatives with a focus on customer satisfaction and performance metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering/technical field, 8+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
• Minimum eight years experience in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven business insight with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience managing direct reports required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Temporary visa holders are not eligible for hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to NA Analytical Instruments Customer Care team to meet Sales goals.
• Lead the Analytical Inside Sales team and coordinate with NA Sales and Marketing on sales programs.
• Contribute to Global Customer Care activities and KPI analysis for Service Level and Sales.
• Support go-to-market plans with Product Management for positioning and enablement.
• Develop processes for effective customer support and timely responses to orders and quotations.
