Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Tyler inpatient team. The APP will support medical and gynecologic oncology patients in the inpatient setting with typical hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have NP or PA credentials with MSN and certification (NCCPA or NP), BLS/CPR, and 0–3 years post-MSN or PA experience. Training provided for procedures and care coordination.

Qualifications

• PA/NP/MSN with relevant inpatient oncology experience preferred.
• NCCPA certification or NP licensure required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with physicians.
• Inpatient support for medical and gynecologic oncology teams.
• Perform procedures after training and document care.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Possibly round at hospitals and participate in after-hours calls.
