Job summary

Texas Oncology, part of The US Oncology Network, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support inpatient medical and gynecologic oncology teams in Tyler. The role aligns with PA/NP pathways, with level based on experience, and offers CME support and leadership opportunities.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Inpatient responsibilities include direct patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians. A strong oncology background is preferred.

Qualifications

• PA, AG-ACNP, or ACNP preferred; FNP considered.
• MSN from an accredited nursing program and completion of an NP program; entry-level with 0–3 years post-MSN.
• RN license and valid NP license; BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Initiates interventions and documents patient responses; prescribes therapies as indicated.
• Performs procedures after appropriate training.
• Promotes wellness and provides education to patients and families.
• Supports inpatient medical and gynecologic oncology teams.
