Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA is seeking a Senior Innovation Analyst to lead and coordinate innovation projects across operations, underwriting, and IT. The role supports market intelligence and technology assessment to drive strategic opportunities and competitive advantage, with hybrid or fully remote work options and a full-time, exempt status.

You will partner with multiple business groups, manage project plans, track progress, and communicate milestones while exploring

Qualifications

4–8 years of experience managing business or IT projects using structured methodologies such as agile.
Experience in Property & Casualty insurance is preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead execution on innovation projects with cross-functional teams and ensure outcomes.
Monitor project status and manage scope/resources using best practices.
Communicate major milestones and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
Conduct market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Identify cross-functional dependencies and build solutions with stakeholder alignment.
Facilitate innovation workshops, design-thinking sessions, and experimentation activities.
