Travelers Inland Marine is seeking an Account Executive Officer to partner with agents and brokers, underwriting complex risks and driving profitable growth. You will manage an assigned book, negotiate terms, and develop regional sales plans with leadership to meet risk appetite.

The role requires deep inland marine knowledge, four-year underwriting experience, and strong communication skills to build lasting internal and external partnerships. Travel to meet clients is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; six to eight years underwriting experience in inland marine.
• Deep knowledge of inland marine products, regulatory environment, and local insurance market.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making aligned with risk appetite.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with agents and brokers.
• CPCU designation preferred or required.

Responsabilités

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate internal and external relationships to create sales plans and cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with agents and brokers in person to market and sell Travelers products; travel as needed.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with MD; mentor less experienced Account Executives.
