Cabot Corporation in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Inkjet Applications Engineer/Manager to lead technical service for inkjet dispersion technologies in the Americas and advance customer product adoption.

The role combines hands-on lab leadership with cross-functional collaboration, driving strategic technical guidance and rapid problem solving for ink systems. Hybrid schedule with remote work and in-office days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ technical experience including inkjet ink formulation and dispersion science.
• Experience establishing long-term strategic relationships with customers.
• Dispersion knowledge and ink formulation across multiple applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem solving with diverse technical specializations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer-facing technical expert for inkjet dispersion technologies in the Americas.
• Act as the principal technical service conduit between regions and Cabot’s R&D hub in Billerica, MA.
• Lead rapid-turnaround lab projects for troubleshooting and prototyping ink solutions.
• Provide leadership to one or more laboratory technicians and coach staff.
• Support Sales as a recognized expert technical advisor.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and results with clear reporting.
