Job summary

Cabot Corporation in Billerica, MA is seeking a Senior Inkjet Applications Engineer / Manager to join the Inkjet Technical Service team. This role leads technical discovery, supports customer trials, and collaborates across R&D, Sales, and Quality to drive adoption of Cabot inkjet dispersion technologies.

The position offers hybrid work arrangements, a direct report, and opportunities to shape strategic customer engagements while advancing in a global specialty chemicals environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' technical experience including inkjet ink formulation and dispersion science.
• Experience establishing long-term strategic relationships with customers related to technical ink problem solving.
• Dispersion knowledge and ink formulation across desktop to industrial printing scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical discovery process to define customer performance requirements and translate them into actionable ink/dispersion solutions.
• Lead technical visits to customer locations to support trials, evaluations, and problem solving.
• Generate technical documentation, application guidance, and training materials for customers.
• Coach and develop laboratory staff and manage performance-based objectives.
