Works under minimal supervision and performs a variety of standard and non-routine activities related to chemical and physical testing of inkjet inks and dispersions. Prepares more complex samples and runs testing equipment; may work in laboratory or in a pilot plant environment operating pilot line equipment. Provides training and orientation to less experienced operators. The Sr Lab Technical Operator will be dedicated to the Inkjet Technical Service Function. The role will support Inkjet Technical Service by conducting fast-turnaround experiments and tests designed to not only evaluate and solve technical dispersion problems, but also to support the prototyping of potential ink solutions to help Cabot proactively encourage adoption of its dispersion products by ink producers.

Support efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.
Strictly follow and comply with all SH&E procedures, standards and regulations and constantly strive for Excellence in the field of Safety, Health and preservation of the Environment.
Maintain work area in compliance with safety rules and regulations. Participates in scheduled safety meetings and completes safety training requirements.
