Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Manager, Injection Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-level technical leadership for injection molding machinery and system performance across the network. You will define platform standards, drive integration of tooling, and guide lifecycle planning to optimize cost and performance.

The role requires 10–15+ years in injection molding, strong collaboration with Product Development and Tooling, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in injection molding machinery operation, process optimization, or equipment engineering in plastics/packaging.
• Deep knowledge of injection machine systems, controls, hydraulics, and auxiliaries.
• Proven ability to lead platform standardization and cross-site technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical strategy for injection molding equipment and system architecture across the network.
• Establish machine platform standards including controls, hydraulics, and integration requirements.
• Lead mold–machine interface standards and coordinate with tooling engineering.
• Drive system-wide performance improvements across plants and lifecycle optimization.
• Own lifecycle and asset strategy for injection equipment; evaluate upgrades and retrofits.
