Job summary

IPS Corporation seeks a mold technician to support manufacturing by safely setting up and processing injection molding machines. You will hang, set, and start tooling from start to finish, manage material handling, and adjust processes as needed, including hot runner systems.

The role requires 7–10+ years in molding, ability to read drawings, and strong safety discipline. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within Diversified Products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7–10+ years experience in injection molding operations.
• Ability to read parts, prints and drawings.
• Proficient in using calipers and measurement devices.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and process injection molding machines from start to finish.
• Hang, set, and start tooling and hot runner systems.
• Handle materials and adjust processes as needed.
• Maintain tooling and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Support quality with root-cause analysis and problem solving.
• Follow safety protocols and operate safely around heavy equipment.
