Da Pro Rubber is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate the Plastics Injection Molding Department for safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality molded components in Newburyport, MA. You will guide molding technicians, operators, and support personnel while maintaining quality standards, schedules, and safety.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, 5S, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration with Scheduling, Materials, QA, and Maintenance to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• Expert in employee training & development, press operations, mold care, scheduling, and quality issue troubleshooting.
• Proficient in LEAN methodologies and 5S implementations.
• Ability to navigate an MRP system at an expert level.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the injection-molding department.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, efficiency, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor machine utilization, labor productivity, scrap rates, and department performance.
• Assign personnel and equipment to maximize operational effectiveness.
• Lead shift startup meetings and communicate production priorities.
