The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 7+ years in tooling for manufacturing with injection molding, and substantial experience in FDA/GMP environments. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or biomedical engineering.
• 7+ years in tooling for manufacturing with injection molding; proven leadership.
• Minimum 5 years in FDA/GMP regulated injection molding facility.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CAD tools AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production and product development to ensure tooling is efficient and meets quality standards.
• Provide technical tooling support to injection molding department for manufacturability.
• Manage tooling budget planning for capital equipment and tooling upgrades.
• Coordinate with tool manufacturers and vendors for tool procurement.
