Job summary

Monoflo International, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to own the daily operation of injection molding machines, automation cells, and robots.

The role includes troubleshooting defects and optimizing the molding process to improve quality and efficiency. The candidate will startup machines from 180T to 1100T, program robots, and support engineering with new mold and machine start-ups, using IQMS for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in plastic injection molding processes.
• Experience with robots and automation desirable.
• Experience with Engel, JSW, United Silicone, TCU’s, and utility systems is highly desirable.
• Highly responsible and reliable with self-initiative.
• Flexible and adaptable to priority changes.
• Demonstrates problem solving skills with the focus on root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines and automation cells to support daily production.
• Startup injection molding machines (size ranges 180T to 1100T).
• Program robots used to pick parts from molding machines and place on conveyors.
• Set up and operate auxiliary equipment (temperature control units, heaters, material blenders, hot stamp equipment).
• Perform advanced plastic process troubleshooting for defects and process inconsistencies.
• Use IQMS for production schedule planning, downtime, and reject coding.
• Audit process parameter history, identify trends, and take corrective actions.
• Train Supervisors and Cell Technicians on shift to improve processes and root-cause skills.
