Qualifications

• Must have five years of advanced injection molding experience including processing, mold tryout or technician roles.
• Knowledge of engineering resins and gas-assist processes.
• Able to read and interpret procedures, specs, and process data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and human relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot injection molding processes using engineered/commodity resins.
• Train mold setter/processors and general service staff on processing techniques and equipment operation.
• Review cycle times, scrap rates and process efficiency for each press.
• Conduct new mold qualification and pilot runs to establish optimal processes.
• Interface with Process Engineer, Tooling/Production specialist, and Molding Manager to meet processing needs.
