Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in the United States is seeking a Senior Designer for Manufacturing Process to develop and qualify injection molding processes for high‑quality medical device components. You will lead feasibility studies, set up equipment, and drive process improvements with minimal supervision.

The role requires hands‑on experience with large horizontal molding presses, Decoupled III methods, RJG eDART, and rigorous OQ/PQ qualification activities to ensure compliant production.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on injection molding process development experience in the past 3 years.
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop and troubleshoot molding processes.
• Experience with Decoupled III processing and RJG eDART or similar systems.
• Experience executing process OQ/PQ qualifications for molded components in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform molding feasibility and develop/optimize the T02 injection molding process
• Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot a large horizontal injection molding machine
• Utilize scientific molding, Decoupled III, and process feedback tools such as RJG eDART
• Coordinate development machine time with Operations to protect scope, schedule, budget while balancing Ops needs
• Execute OQ/PQ activities, analyze results, and complete qualification report with minimal input from other experienced peers
