Applied Medical in Lake Forest, CA is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to support plastics manufacturing. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing or injection molding.
• Knowledge of mold setup, changeovers, process control, and resin properties.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Readiness to wear PPE and lift/move materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setup, changeovers, and equipment preparation.
• Monitor molding processes and equipment to ensure quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot processes and apply adjustments to meet specifications.
• Conduct line clearances and verify readiness of molds, materials, tooling, and equipment.
• Support mold cleaning, preventive maintenance, and tooling care.
• Document process parameters and shop order status in SAP.
• Collaborate with team leaders, engineers, and quality for continuous improvement.
• Escalate equipment, tooling, process, or quality issues and initiate maintenance requests.
