Job summary

Rishabh RPO is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer with strong plastic injection molding expertise to support manufacturing operations on the production floor. You will troubleshoot equipment, drive continuous improvement, and optimize molding processes while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on molding experience, a background as a Molding/Process Technician or Die Setter, and can contribute to new product launches and process

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding required.
• Experience as Process Technician, Molding Technician, or Die Setter.
• Knowledge of molding machine setup, startup/shutdown, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with robotics used in injection molding/manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain injection molding processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot injection molding machines, processing issues, tooling, and production defects.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, setup, and process adjustments.
• Establish and verify molding parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Review first-piece/first-shot and last-piece production against established quality standards.
• Identify root causes of quality and production issues and implement effective countermeasures.
• Support new product launches, tooling, fixtures, and process development activities.
• Program, set up, and troubleshoot industrial robots used in injection molding operations.
• Build, modify, and support EOAT for robotic applications.
• Assist with mold/tool setup, preventive maintenance, tear-down, cleaning, and rebuild activities as needed.
• Develop and implement process improvements, work instructions, and standardized operating procedures.
• Support secondary operations, fixtures, and automated manufacturing processes.
• Monitor scrap, downtime, cycle times, and other key production metrics and develop improvement plans.
• Conduct time studies and evaluate machine/work-cell efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support corrective and preventive actions related to internal and customer quality concerns.
• Assist with training production personnel on processes, equipment, and quality requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety and quality standards.
