Job summary

Abbott Nutrition is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee food packaging GMP compliance and injection molding operations at the Richmond, IN site. You will drive process ownership, lead mold maintenance, and coordinate tooling changes while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory adherence.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in high‑volume molding, strong project management, and hands‑on troubleshooting of presses and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of presses, hot runner systems, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold transfers, new tool qualifications, press installations, resin changes, and capacity expansions.
• Build and manage project timelines with deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate vendor activities including FAT/SAT, run‑at‑rate, and site acceptance criteria.
