Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support and optimize plastic injection molding operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, throughput, and safety while applying DMAIC and other Six Sigma methods to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and at least 7 years in process or manufacturing roles, with experience in injection molding or automation being a strong plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in process, maintenance, or operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in injection molding and/or automation is a substantial plus.
• Self-driven, motivated and capable.
• Competency in employee engaged people leadership.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and systems for a food grade plastics injection molding environment.
• Develops product and process capability, performance measurements, control systems, quality standard.
• Uses critical thinking and problem-solving methodologies for issue resolution and process improvement.
• Ensures compliance with all corporate and plant safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains ISO compliant process and quality records.
