Job summary

Amcor Phoenix is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead the molding department with a strong safety mindset, drive excellence, and foster teamwork. The role requires guiding safety programs, quality policies, and department performance while delivering on production goals.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with QA, maintenance, and production scheduling, and lead cost-reduction initiatives while developing training and talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of related plastic injection molding leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong technical, business and managerial skills with a diversified background.
• Ability to work with Excel and data analysis software to drive decisions.
• Experience with ISO, SQF, HACCP and GMPs and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Molding department and coordinate activities to meet corporate, divisional and plant goals.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Direct supervisors on production volumes, costs, quality and schedules.
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance development of molding personnel.
• Coordinate mold changes, repairs, and maintenance with Production Scheduling.
• Develop budgets and manage departmental spend.
