Amcor Rigid Packaging in Fairfield, CA seeks a technical leader to optimize Husky PET injection molding systems, mentor technicians, and drive reliability across high-volume operations.

You will coordinate mold changes, startup procedures, and advanced troubleshooting while leveraging SAP, DMAIC, and data analytics to reduce downtime and scrap. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with high-speed injection molding equipment, preferably Husky PET systems.
• Demonstrated maintenance and technical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Optimize injection parameters, cycle time, and cooling to improve product quality.
• Lead mold changeovers, system setup, and start-up without significant downtime.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis for equipment issues.
