Job summary

Premier PV seeks an Injection Mold Design Engineer to drive material selection, molding design, and tooling feasibility for outdoor PV eBOS products. The role supports overmolded assemblies, harness components, and molded housings across product families.

The candidate will review material data, advise on moldability, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective molded solutions for harsh environmental use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Plastics/Polymer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years in injection molding, overmolding, tooling design or molded-product development.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of injection molding, overmolding, insert molding, resin selection, and moldability.
• Evaluate polymer/material systems and guide moldability for outdoor PV applications.
• Collaborate with suppliers, toolmakers, and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
