Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on mold maker experience in a plastic injection molding environment.
• Experience building, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molds.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD-generated prints.
• Experience operating manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; work independently with high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, fit, assemble, and troubleshoot precision plastic injection molds.
• Perform mold repairs, engineering changes, preventive maintenance, and refurbishments.
• Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions for reliability.
• Machine mold components using manual and CNC tooling; inspect to tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, and Production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Document repairs, modifications, inspections, and tooling improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; support continuous improvement.
