Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS North America seeks a Sr. Production Engineer - Ingot to support day-to-day manufacturing operations in Cartersville, GA. You will collect, validate, and organize data into actionable reports for management decisions, create production plans, coordinate with supervisors, and drive cross-department initiatives to meet site goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong Operations/Planning background, program management experience, and expertise in continuous improvement and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Impeccable math and analytic skills.
• Comfort with integrating new technology into an existing environment.
• Strong data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
• ERP/MES systems proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production management on reporting and analytical tooling.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes, and drive resolutions.
• Assist budget analysis and set operating goals for productivity, quality and safety.
• Compile/analyze data and prepare management reports.
• Provide production line support including process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Apply LEAN, Six Sigma, and other best practices for daily problem-solving.
