NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn is seeking a Senior Infusion Associate to support Medical Office and Infusion Intake operations at the Perlmutter Cancer Center. You will assist with patient scheduling for visits, treatments, and procedures, and help with pre-authorizations and front desk coverage.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and 3 years of medical clerical experience, including physician practice exposure and familiarity with medical terminology. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• High School diploma.
• 3 years of relevant medical clerical experience.
• Must include prior physician practice experience and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Provides reception assistance, screens telephone callers, handles messages, directs calls as needed.
• Responsible for patient check-in and check-out; gathers patient demographics and insurance information; verifies eligibility.
• Schedules routine appointments and follow-up visits; coordinates inter-department scheduling for specialists visits.
