Peraton Labs seeks a poly cleared Senior Infrastructure and Systems Administrator to support cleared R&D for a government customer in Maryland. The role emphasizes Linux/Windows admin, virtualization, security hardening, and stateful infrastructure management on-site near College Park, MD.

You will work with researchers, engineers, subcontractors, and program leadership to ensure mission systems are reliable, secure, and compliant for advanced R&D efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with related experience.
• Strong Linux and Windows server administration experience.
• Experience with enterprise or research infrastructure environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM/Proxmox/OpenStack).
• Experience applying security baselines, patching, and endpoint protection updates.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and enhance classified and unclassified research infrastructure systems.
• Perform Linux and Windows server administration including patching and hardening.
• Configure and troubleshoot IT, networking, compute, and lab hardware/software.
• Build and maintain OS images for Linux and Windows environments.
• Support virtualization and infrastructure platforms (VMware/Proxmox/Hyper-V/KVM/OpenStack).
• Interface with government customer and program teams to coordinate infrastructure work.
