Job summary

ICE is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Solutions Architect to drive enterprise-wide architecture and standards. You will define patterns, ensure scalable, secure designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on a common technical direction across ICE portfolio.

This role requires hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and cloud providers, plus strong scripting and IaC skills. A solid background in DevSecOps and enterprise IT is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field.
• 7+ years designing infrastructure architectures for global enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes (K8s) at enterprise scale.
• Experience with RunAI, Proxmox, or equivalent workload hosting frameworks.
• Strong HW/OS systems background across storage, servers, and Linux/Windows TCP/IP stacks.
• Working knowledge of L2/L3 networking, virtualization, and general IT systems.
• Automation experience leveraging Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Perl with demonstrated delivery.
• DevSecOps environment with automated pipelines and security controls.
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP with depth in at least one provider.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define infrastructure standards and reference architecture patterns.
• Design resilient infrastructure solutions focused on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Oversee upkeep of standards as expressed in Global Design Specifications.
• Collaborate with ISA teams to address new requirements and delivery timelines.
• Identify gaps in guiding principles and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Create diagrams and documentation of IT components; conduct PoC evaluations with engineering.
• Provide governance for existing cloud services and methodologies.
• Ensure logging and monitoring align with regulations.
• Pursue ongoing education and relevant certifications.
