Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure EDA clusters spanning on-prem data centers and multi-cloud environments. You will build and operate security controls, telemetry, and enforce secure-by-default infrastructure with IaC and policy-as-code.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure or infrastructure-security engineering across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux depth - system level proficiency.
• Real experience operating or securing compute fleets at scale.
• Working networking expertise applied to large compute environments.
• Programming/scripting fluency (Python, Go, or shell).
• Foundations in access control, authentication, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability lifecycle.
• Track record of landing changes with partners who don't report to you.
• Clear written and verbal communication - credible with engineers and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security controls and telemetry for EDA compute, storage, and networking - design, ship to production, then own them.
• Engineer around hard constraints to protect long-running compute jobs without degradation.
• Make the network and platform the control plane for protection.
• Instrument for detection and normalize security signals into the SIEM, building detections and dashboards.
• Investigate and respond to EDA-specific threats and containment/remediation with engineers and owners.
• Automate enforcement and evidence via infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code.
• Manage lifecycle of security technologies you own: selection, rollout, operation, replacement.
• Collaborate across data center operations, storage, networking, CSP teams, and NVIDIA security teams.
• Think like an adversary with threat modeling and mitigation planning across network, storage, and compute.
