Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer for EDA Clusters. You will design, implement, and own security controls across compute, storage, and networking in on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

You will build telemetry, detections, and dashboards, while protecting long-running, high-value workloads. Expect hands-on engineering, IaC, and close collaboration with data center and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure or infrastructure-security engineering across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux depth - system-level expertise.
• Real experience operating or securing compute fleets at scale.
• Working networking expertise in large compute environments.
• Programming/scripting fluency (Python, Go, or shell) used for automation and tooling.
• Foundations in access control, authentication, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability lifecycle.
• Track record of landing changes with partners who don’t report to you.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security controls and telemetry for EDA compute, storage, and networking—design, ship to production, then own them.
• Engineer around hard constraints to protect long-running, high-value compute jobs without degrading them.
• Make the network and platform the control plane, not only the node.
• Instrument for detection: collect security signals into the SIEM and build useful detections and dashboards.
• Investigate and respond to EDA-specific threats with infrastructure and service owners.
• Automate enforcement and evidence; IaC and policy-as-code with engineering outputs.
• Lifecycle management of security technologies you own: selection, rollout, operation, replacement.
• Collaborate across data center ops, IT storage, networking, CSPs, and NVIDIA security orgs.
• Think like an adversary with threat modeling and mitigation planning.
