Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer for EDA clusters. You will build and operate security controls across compute, storage, and networking in on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

You will own outcomes, design around constraints, and implement secure-by-default infrastructure with IaC and policy-as-code. The role requires 8+ years in infrastructure security, deep Linux expertise, and strong programming skills in Python/Go/shell.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure or infrastructure-security engineering across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux depth and system-level proficiency.
• Experience provisioning, lifecycle management, and securing long-running compute fleets at scale.
• Working networking expertise in large compute environments.
• Programming/scripting with Python, Go, or shell for automation and tooling.
• Foundations in access control, authentication, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with engineers and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security controls and telemetry for EDA compute, storage, and networking, then own them.
• Engineer around hard constraints to protect long-running, high-value compute jobs.
• Make the network and platform the control plane for protection.
• Instrument for detection by collecting and normalizing signals into SIEM and building actionable detections.
• Investigate and respond to EDA threats, containment, and remediation with owners.
• Automate enforcement and evidence with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code.
• Oversee lifecycle of security technologies from selection to replacement.
• Collaborate across data centers, IT storages, networks, CSP teams, and security org.
