Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer for EDA clusters. You will build and operate security controls across compute, storage, and networking, spanning on-prem data centers and multi-cloud environments.

You’ll own telemetry, detections, and dashboards, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure configurations and compliant practices throughout the lifecycle of security technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure or infrastructure-security engineering across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux depth and system-level expertise.
• Experience securing compute fleets at scale: provisioning, lifecycle, and operational realities.
• Working networking expertise in large compute environments.
• Programming fluency (Python, Go, or shell) for automation and tooling.
• Foundations in IAM, authentication, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Security or platform engineering inside EDA, HPC, or large research-cluster environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security controls and telemetry for EDA compute, storage, and networking; design, ship to production, and own them.
• Log collection and SIEM-based detections and dashboards; ensure actionable insights.
• Infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code with secure default configurations and compliance evidence.
• Run the lifecycle of the security technologies you own: selection, rollout, operation, replacement.
• Collaborate with data center ops, IT storage and networking, CSP teams, and NVIDIA's central security organization.
• Threat modeling and mitigation planning across network, storage, and compute.
