Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Security Software Engineer for Infrastructure Security to help shape the future of Platform Security. You will work with multiple security and engineering teams to harden and secure Roblox's cloud and on-prem structures, enabling engineers to design and operate infrastructure securely at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding or relevant technical experience.
• Experience with automation, IaC, system hardening, container security concepts, cloud security policy and observability.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS/RKS), and on prem/cloud risk infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PKI, data encryption at-rest/in-transit, secrets management, and orchestration at scale with Chef/Nomad/ECS.
• Understanding of network and application security concepts and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify security gaps and threats in Roblox cloud and on-prem infrastructure; collaborate with GRC to create standards and policies.
• Harden infrastructure with secure-by-default configurations, designs, and guardrails for developers.
• Own and drive security-enabled infrastructure design and usage for Roblox engineers at scale.
• Collaborate with multiple InfoSec teams and Roblox Infrastructure to ensure secure outcomes of security initiatives.
