Job summary

Luster is seeking Project Schedulers at multiple levels to support large heavy-civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, water, and airports.

You will craft logic-driven CPM schedules, fold in procurement and third-party dependencies, and convert field data into clear progress updates and forecasts. This role emphasizes critical-path risk identification, recovery planning, and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on scheduling experience for large (> $500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with full CPM baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in interpreting project scope, drawings, and constraints and translating them into logic-driven schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Bluebeam, RSMeans, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule covering design through turnover, with logical links and cost loading.
• Collect field progress data, update status weekly/monthly, and produce look-aheads and forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options and recovery plans.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, relocations, and long-lead procurement items.
• Generate Gantt charts, S-curves, KPI dashboards for managers and executives.
• Perform schedule-risk analyses using Monte Carlo, identify drivers, and track mitigations.
• Support change orders by preparing Time Impact Analyses linking delays to cost.
• Mentor junior schedulers to raise overall planning maturity.
