Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator in Redondo Beach to own the day-to-day operation and reliability of core infrastructure platforms across on-premises datacenters and cloud environments. You will lead incident response, perform advanced troubleshooting, and drive automation to improve platform resilience.

The role requires 3+ years of infra administration experience, proficiency with Windows and Linux, and hands-on virtualization skills.

Qualifications

3+ years experience administering enterprise infrastructure environments.
Experience with Windows Server administration.
Proficiency in Linux systems administration.
Experience operating virtualization platforms in production.
Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-system issues.
Experience automating administrative workflows using scripting and IaC.
Strong understanding of infrastructure dependencies and service architecture.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day operation and reliability of assigned infrastructure platforms.
Administer enterprise server environments across on-premises datacenters and cloud platforms.
Lead response and resolution efforts for complex infrastructure incidents.
Perform advanced troubleshooting across compute, identity, storage, and dependent services.
Develop and maintain automation to reduce manual operational work.
Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance.
