Job summary

Packetlabs is hiring an Ethical Hacker – Infrastructure & Red Team to plan, execute, and report on infrastructure penetration testing, cloud security assessments, Active Directory security, and adversary simulations. The role spans on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments with opportunities to contribute to red team operations and tooling improvements.

You will deliver detailed reports to clients and guide remediation, while mentoring teams and advancing Packetlabs’ offensive security

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in infrastructure penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security consulting.
• Experience testing Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud environments.
• Experience with internal and external network testing and privilege escalation.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute infrastructure penetration tests across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Lead adversary simulations and red team engagements per client objectives.
• Develop attack scenarios demonstrating business impact while preserving client systems.
• Deliver comprehensive technical reports with remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with defensive teams to validate detections and improve security.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity / related field

OSCP (preferred)

OSEP (preferred)

CRTO (preferred)

CRTE (preferred)

CARTA/CARTA, CREST CRT/CCT (preferred)

PNPT / GPEN / GXPN (preferred)
