Job summary

Packetlabs, a security-focused consultancy, seeks an Ethical Hacker – Infrastructure & Red Team to plan, execute, and report on infrastructure penetration testing, cloud security assessments, and adversary simulations. You will operate across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, delivering actionable findings to clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in offensive security, strong AD/cloud experience, and certifications like OSCP or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional infrastructure penetration testing, red teaming, adversary simulation, or offensive security consulting.
• Experience in penetration testing across Windows, Linux, AD, cloud platforms, and enterprise networking.
• Experience performing internal and external network penetration testing, privilege escalation, AD security assessments, and lateral movement testing.
• Cloud environments experience including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, identity management, cloud security, and offensive security methodologies.
• Experience using industry-standard offensive security frameworks, tools, and tradecraft.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTE, CARTP, CARTA, CREST CRT, CCT, PNPT, GPEN, GXPN are assets.
• Experience in Red Team, Purple Team, adversary simulation, or threat emulation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute infrastructure penetration testing engagements across on-premises, hybrid, cloud, wireless, and enterprise networks.
• Perform internal and external network penetration testing to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Assess Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud services, and supporting infrastructure.
• Evaluate cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for configuration weaknesses and identity risks.
• Assess containerized environments, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
• Participate in adversary simulation, red team, and objective-based security engagements.
• Lead and report findings with remediation guidance to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tooling.
